Jameson's power is known as Super-Slander, which allows him to sway others' opinions through newsprint or through words alone.
This is counteracted by the person he is trying to influence having direct evidence against these claims (i.e. "I know Spider-Man and he's not a menace!" - generally if your character has more of a rep, JJJ will probably be able to get less people against them), psychic shields or just by the sheer willpower/personality of a character.
In layman's terms, going along with JJJ's power is totally optional and it will hardly resonate with characters whose personality/intelligence would have them disagree with him. Straight-to-the point, if you don't want your character to be affected by his powers, they won't be!
But, JJJ does have quite a decent amount of influence on the various background citizens/NPCs in the setting! This essentially amounts to passive hypnotism - which may be good or bad, as a great deal of citizens may start to look at your character in a different light if JJJ starts talking about them.
SO! A lot of that I can handle on Plurk/the plotting post, but if you want to plot with Jonah frequently, it's nice for me to have some of this information on hand! Just comment below with this info either filled out or explained:
What public information is known about your character?: (Publically accessible stuff! JJJ wants to find whatever juicy tidbits he can)
Can JJJ slander your character?: (Is Jameson able to write bad headlines about you? Keep in mind that people will end up listening to/agreeing with his opinions)
If so, to what degree?: (How far is JJJ able to go with slandering your character? Harsh headlines that'll turn everyone against them or just briefs that might speak negatively?)
This will be expanded on as time goes up. Questions in comments are fine. CHARACTER PERMISSIONS coming shortly!
